I am a qualified therapist and trainee Counselling Psychologist undergoing training with the British Psychological Society.
I first started my counselling career after completing my undergraduate degree in psychology in 2017. I worked in a forensic psychiatric unit as a Health Care Assistant and volunteer counsellor. I completed a masters degree in Psychological Therapies at London Metropolitan University and have recently completed a Post Graduate degree in High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with the Salomon’s Institute. I am currently awaiting accreditation with the BABCP.
I currently work in an NHS IAPT service delivering CBT. I have also worked in University settings. I have also had experience as an Assistant Psychologist to an Expert Witness in child and family, clinical negligence, forensic and personal injury cases conducting assessments and formulating reports for the use of the courts. Throughout my career and academic training, I have also continued my professional development in training courses through the various institutions I have worked at e.g. working with personality disorders, working with social anxiety and working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Managing Violence.
I have experience assisting clients with a wide array of difficulties including (but not limited to) generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety), depression, low self-esteem, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and PTSD
