As a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I believe that every person is unique, and that one size does not fit all. Therefore, I work naturally adapting so that our sessions suit you.
I am here to work alongside you in your therapeutic journey, drawing on my training in a Person-Centred Approach, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt and Mindfulness. I provide a non-judgemental, confidential, safe space to explore and experience behaviours, feelings and thought process. I am empathic and understanding and take a validating approach to strengthen resources, confidence, self-esteem and self-compassion.
I completed my Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (BACP Accredited) at Wealden Institute of Psychology. I offer short and long-term therapeutic counselling. I have experience assisting clients with many different difficulties, especially anxiety and depression, suicidal thoughts, low self-compassion, stresses at work, bereavement, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ issues, substance misuse and addiction.
Prior to my qualifying as a Counsellor, I have ten years’ experience working in further and higher education supporting students with a wide variety of pastoral issues.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). Therefore, I abide by the organisations' ethical standards.
