Neuropsychology is a branch of psychology that is particularly concerned with how psychological processes are related to the brain. Specifically, neuropsychologists have a specialised knowledge of how certain disruptions or traumatic injuries to the brain can affect our everyday functioning and psychological wellbeing. 

Of course, all mental events are mediated through the brain – this text you are reading now is mediated through the brain as well as all our interactions and relationships – so aren’t all psychologists neuropsychologists?
