Psychology Sussex have a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals who have experience in acting as medicolegal experts in both assessment and treatment. We are able to provide psychological and psychiatric expert opinion for criminal, civil and family courts. We have experience in being instructed by both prosecution and defence lawyers and by direction of the Court. 

Our medicolegal experts are committed to providing high quality and impartial expert opinion as well as evidenced based psychological treatments. 

We are also able to work within the rates proscribed by the Legal Aid Agency. 

We always endeavour to offer an appointment within a week of instruction – subject to matching the availability of the client and practitioner – and reports are filed within two weeks of the date of instruction. 

General psychological / psychiatric evaluation

Immigration and asylum

As this area necessitates, our experts are sensitive to the diversity of backgrounds, cultures and religions of the individuals for whom we are asked to provide assessments and treatments of. We are also used to working with interpreters and can help you source high standard interpreting services.

    Our administration team are always around to help clients attend their appointments or when you need to contact the office. They are responsible for booking appointments, taking calls and payments and are always at the end of a phone during extended office opening hours to help with any queries you have.
