Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist 1994, I have had a wide range of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My areas of expertise include – depression; anxiety; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Obsessive Compulsive Disorders; phobias; panic attacks; parenting difficulties and behaviour problems in young children. My work is guided by the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work in a flexible way, drawing on Family Therapy and Systemic models where appropriate. My aim is to work with clients to identify specific areas for change, help set realistic goals and work collaboratively to develop new coping strategies that can be put into practice in daily life.
