I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor. I studied Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling at Brighton University. Prior to this I completed Levels 2 and 3 NCFE in Counselling Skills and Theory.
I have experience working with clients who have depression, anxiety, insecurities, low self-esteem and those dealing with grief. Alongside my role as counsellor, I also work as a PA which involves engaging with people who have learning, emotional and physical needs and helping them become more independent.
I have an interest in a person’s inner world and how unconscious and uncomprehending factors impact on one’s behaviour. Fears around existentialism are of particular interest to me as are anger issues. I seek to help clients who present concerns around their emotional well-being in a safe, friendly and confidential space.
