Psychodynamic Counsellor

I am a BACP accredited counsellor with a postgraduate diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the University of Sussex in 2001. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR). I offer short- and long-term work. 

I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore the issues that are of concern to you. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, numb or lonely for example. Or perhaps something has happened in your life that you don't know how to manage alone such as trauma from childhood or as an adult, a bereavement or job loss. I welcome the different parts of you.

I work with each person on an individual basis, with a broadly psychodynamic approach although I also draw on other modalities when they might be helpful.  I work to build our relationship in a way that provides safety and the potential for you to have a new sense of your relationship with yourself and with others.
