I am an Integrative Counsellor and Coach in training, currently undertaking an MSc at the University of East London. I am also a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I abide by their code of ethics.
As an integrative counsellor in training, my practice incorporates different theories and interventions, and aims to address the individual needs of my clients. I work relationally and will offer warmth, trust and understanding in therapy, with a commitment to being non-judgemental and holding a safe and boundaried space for you. I will listen intently to you and be reflective with you in our sessions. I may also ask you questions to encourage you to process your thoughts and emotions, notice your patterns, and consider different perspectives.
My previous academic and professional background is in the arts and cultural sector, where my experience included advisory, advocacy and consultancy roles. These involved the use of transferable communication, listening, and empathic skills, which I bring into my counselling and coaching practice.
