I am a UKCP-accredited Humanistic Psychotherapist and EMDR-trained practitioner with a background in education and the music industry. My approach is based on the belief that our past, especially early experiences, shapes who we are today. Exploring these patterns can reveal why we feel stuck or repeat unhelpful behaviours in relationships or work. Humanistic therapy supports greater self-understanding and helps you make choices that align with what truly matters to you.
My belief is that we all have the resources needed to heal and make changes in our emotional well-being. I provide a down-to-earth counselling style for people who feel they need support to explore themselves or simply a need to be witnessed and heard. I offer the opportunity to talk openly in a trusted, confidential and safe environment.
I have my therapy dog, Paddy, in the room with me when I work with clients. He is a specially bred and trained therapy dog, hypoallergenic, and very gentle.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in mental health settings. Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space, which is your time to explore some of the difficulties you have been facing and work together to find ways forward in your life.
My experience includes working in NHS, education and charity organisations for adults, children and young people. I draw on a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy. My work is tailored to each person, and I work in an integrative way to ensure that sessions feel attended to your needs. I am experienced in helping people with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma, low-self-esteem, self-harm and difficulties regulating emotions. I also have experience in helping people navigate the psychological impact of physical health challenges and long-term health issues.
I completed my clinical training at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London, and the Maudsley Hospital, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

As an integrative counsellor, my practice incorporates different theories and interventions, and aims to address the individual needs of my clients. I work relationally and will offer warmth and trust, with a commitment to being non-judgemental. I will listen intently to you and be reflective with you in our sessions to encourage you to process your thoughts and emotions, notice your patterns, and consider different perspectives.
I abide by the code of ethics of the BACP and the BPS, and I am committed to developing an inclusive practise where clients feel respected. My ongoing professional development, including my studies in psychology, and my academic and professional background in the arts and cultural sector, supports this commitment, and has enhanced my sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by people from diverse backgrounds. I approach each client with openness, seeking to understand their worldview and lived experience, and I work collaboratively to ensure that the therapeutic process is supportive to my clients.
