I have over 12 years of experience working as a psychologist with adults, children, young people and families. I have experience of working with people with emotional problems, relationship difficulties, eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia and mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, trauma, PTSD, OCD and other related conditions. I have worked in many different health settings with people with both mild, moderate and chronic mental health difficulties.

My specialist experience and interests are working with children and adults with developmental concerns, special needs, pain, birth trauma, adjustment to disability and chronic illness. I am experienced in working with children and adults with developmental difficulty, disability such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, HIV, pain and other chronic conditions. I am also interested in parenting practices – I think raising children is challenging and I enjoy helping parents who need some space and outside support.

I like to work within the principles of Developmental, Cognitive, Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Narrative and Systemic therapies. I am passionate about my clinical work, take it very seriously and will try to use the time we have to help you gain some understanding into difficulties and help you find strategies to deal with day to day problems.
